Thinking about going out for Sunday breakfast in Norwich?  Our advice is to plan ahead and avoid a hungry roam through the streets!

With shopping centres and large stores opening later than usual and many independents closed on Sundays, you’ll have to look a bit harder than usual to find your caffeine pick me.

Here at Expresso in St Georges Street (just around the corner from the St Andrew’s car park, and a stone’s throw from Elm Hill) we’re open on Sundays from 9am.   And we’ve just launched a new cooked-to-order Sunday breakfast menu, showcasing fantastically flavoursome locally-sourced ingredients.

There’s the Expresso Full English, as well as a vegetarian version, along with Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale and Scrambled Eggs on toasted ciabatta.

Not only that – as well as the Sunday papers – you’ll also find familiar Expresso early morning favourites.  From porridge to freshly baked pastries, to bacon rolls and filled muffins.

Sunday breakfast ingredients include premium Norfolk ham, dry cured bacon, pork sausages, free range eggs and of course top quality cheese.

All washed down with great tasting Italian Segafredo coffee from –with a wide range of teas, infusions, hot chocolate and cold drinks also available!

With the café in full sun, mornings are a great time of day to visit, and there’s outdoor seating for dog walkers too.

The Expresso Sunday Breakfast is served until 1pm and as the morning goes on, as usual, you’ll see the arrival of a wide range of baguettes, sandwiches and toasted ciabattas, not forgetting a tempting display of cakes – all freshly made, from scratch, on the premises.

So whether you’re looking for a lazy start to the day, fuelling up for shopping or meeting friends for breakfast – head to Expresso this Sunday.
